Weathervane Specifications

This copper weathervane is made by hand hammering, cutting, forming and shaping copper into a weathervane. We use 16 ounce 24-gauge copper to form this beautiful artwork.

Each of our weathervanes are balanced so they will point into the wind to show wind direction. If you have wind from the north, the weathervane will be pointing north into the wind. It is important to note that trees, heavy brush and buildings can obstruct the direction of the wind hitting the Golden Retriever Weathervane.

Since we use real copper to make our weathervanes – each weathervane will tarnish. The copper will turn brown, black and then a patina green. This is a natural process, but the time it takes to end up a patina green depends on the weather in your area.

We do not cover tarnishing of the weathervane, acts of mother nature such as windstorms, hail damage, tornadoes, the weathervane flying off the roof, or any other acts of mother nature not listed. If you have any problems, please call us and we will do our best to resolve it, even if it is past the warranty time. We are a family business and take pride in helping our customers with any issues.
