Weather vane Specifications

We make this beautiful copper Weather vane the old fashion way by hand hammering, cutting, forming and shaping this into a Weather vane. We use 24-gauge copper to form two pieces of beautiful artwork together to make this amazing Weather vane and it will fit all our cupolas.

Each of our weatheranes are balanced so they will point into the wind to show weather direction. If you have a north wind blowing the Weather vane will be pointing north straight into the wind. It is important to know that trees, heavy brush can cause wind swirling to the Weather vane which will still head into the wind – just that the wind may be coming from different directions when Mother Nature makes this decree.

Since we use real copper to make our Weather vanes – each Weather vane will tarnish quickly and will turn brown, black and then a patina green. This is natural and unless treated by the customer is going to happen. Mother Nature does what Mother Nature wants, and she loves her Patina Copper.

We do not cover tarnishing of the Weather vane, acts of mother nature such as windstorms, hail damage, tornadoes, the Weather vane flying off the roof, or any other acts of mother nature not listed. If you have any problems, please call us and we will do our best to resolve it, even if it is past the warranty time. We are a family business and take pride in helping our customers with any issues.
